The underlying philosophy for menstrual cycle coaching is Menstrual Cycle Awareness.
What is Menstrual Cycle Coaching?
Menstrual cycle coaching is a safe space for you to explore your cycle, your period and everything related to it. It is a container for learning, understanding and bringing into practice your insights and awareness about your own cycle and period and transforming your life the way you want it.
How can these coaching sessions support me?
In this coaching container, you can work with one or more specific intention(s) that you might have for yourself and your life. For example –
- creating a thriving business
- tapping into your creativity and intuition
- balancing your feminine and masculine energies
- making the most of your period joys in your family life and work life
- understanding your period shadows
- working with PMS, mood swings, irregular cycles or heavy periods
- addressing shame around your period experiences
- navigating perimenopause and menopause
- connecting with your womb power
- coming off hormonal contraception and its side-effects
You can also work with a general intention of understanding your menstrual cycle better and aligning with it to bring balance, harmony and self-love into your life.
In this container, you can heal any period-trauma you might have faced growing up.
And if all you need is to break the barriers of shame around your body, your period and your sexuality then this is the right place for you to be. If you are ready to bust the myths and bury the taboos, then menstrual cycle coaching is the thing for you!
What it is NOT?
It is not therapy. Coaching and therapy are two distinct ways of working and I am not offering therapy sessions in this coaching container. However, if I feel that on a particular topic you might need therapy, which is likely for many of us, I would suggest it to you.
It is not fertility management. I am not yet trained in fertility awareness methods and so if you are specifically looking at managing your fertility and your focus is to conceive then this might not be the right option for you. However, if you are already working with a doctor or practitioner for your fertility and you wish to include menstrual cycle awareness in your life, I would be happy to support you.
It is not equivalent to medical expertise nor supervision. In case of medical issues around your cycle or period, seeing a trained medical professional is advised.
What can you expect in this coaching container?
- Learning to reconnect with your cycle in a positive, life-altering way and re-awaken your innate cyclical wisdom.
- Education and support around menstrual health, be it the phases of your cycle, cycle charting or period products. Charting resources, handouts, embodiment practices and rituals are shared as and when needed.
- Learning how to track your cycle day by day. I share the different kinds of cycle charts with you as and when needed. Tracking your period is one of the fundamental things of period coaching and menstrual cycle awareness. This sets you up for a deep connection with your period, your body and the feminine wisdom you carry within you.
- Understanding the different phases of your cycle and learning how to optimise their powers. Each of us have a unique experience of our cycle phases and aligning with that uniqueness brings us into harmony with ourselves.
- Learning to read your charts independently over time and utilising the data from your cycle for planning ahead
- Visualization journeys and embodiment practices when needed
- Recommendations on your specific intentions(mental, physical and emotion based practices and rituals)
- A monthly meet up of our period community – Let’s Period! – at no additional cost as of now.
Your menstrual cycle is a gift, a power and a teacher and it needs to be celebrated. And that is why I am here to hold space for you through menstrual cycle coaching.
For menstrual cycle coaching, I would work with you over a minimum of 3 months, which is 6 sessions. The sessions take place every two weeks(twice a month). You can choose to pay for all 6 sessions upfront or you can pay in two instalments for 3 sessions each.
What is the structure of period coaching sessions?
I offer a 15min discovery call to briefly discuss with you what you wish to work upon and your intention for working with me. After that you can decide if you wish to book your sessions with me.
I work with an individual for a minimum of 6 sessions(over 3 months) because a minimum of 6 sessions are required to understand your cycle and its ebbs and flows. The sessions happen every 2 weeks(twice a month). There is always the option of continuing with the sessions, in case more than 6 sessions are needed.
First session is 90min in duration and the rest of the sessions are 60min each.
What can I expect in the coaching sessions?
The first session, which is 90min long, marks the beginning of our coaching relationship where we discuss your intentions and goals for working together. I will share with you a pre-programme questionnaire in advance for you to fill up. Most of this session is about setting the foundations for what is to come and creating a plan. I will share the appropriate cycle charting methods with you and take you through the cycle phases. Additionally, we will touch upon menstrual cycle awareness as a practice. And if needed, I will offer some resources and action steps.
From the second to fifth session, which are 60min in length, we will build upon the first session. I will share with you a pre-session questionnaire in advance for you to fill up before every session. Because we meet after 2 weeks, we look at your charts from the previous 2 weeks. We focus on what you learned about yourself from the last 2 weeks and what you need going forward. Depending upon the intention of our work together, we focus on including practices, rituals and habits so that you can reach your goals and intentions with ease. During these sessions, my intention is to help you become independent with your cycle charting and understanding your cycle.
In the final session, be it the 6th or any other, which is a 60min session, we’ll focus on reflection, celebration and revisiting your original intention as we wrap up our time together. We will look at your cycle charts, menstrual maps and any other resources shared during the coaching program. We will set up actionable steps for you going forward and anything else you might need. We might close the the coaching container with a ritual or embodiment practice.
Are you available in between sessions?
Yes, in between the sessions, I will be available to you via email or WhatsApp text.
How do the sessions take place?
The sessions take place online, over a zoom video call.
What is ‘Let’s Period’ and how can I join this community?
Let’s Period is a community for those who have either taken the workshop ‘Reclaim Your Period’ with me or have taken 1:1 period coaching sessions with me. When you sign up for the workshop or the personal sessions, you get added to the community automatically.
We meet monthly to discuss everything around periods, menstrual cycle awareness and more. We share our reflections, learnings and I answer your questions related to this work.
The meetings happen online over zoom. They are 1 hour in duration.
Sakshi is an internationally trained menstrual cycle coach and educator. She is trained as a First Moon Circle facilitator(for girls aged 8-13 years) as well. She has been teaching and educating people about menstruation through her workshops and 1:1 sessions. Her desire is to bring education and awareness around the menstrual cycle and initiate open dialogue and communication around menstruation. She is passionate about driving social change through communication, inclusion and collaboration. Her work lies at the intersection of science and spirituality.
She is also a therapist and she works with individuals to support them through times of stress, anxiety, menstrual problems, sexuality issues, relationship issues, money blocks, health issues, behavioural problems, addictions, fears et cetera.

I have done Shadow Workshop and Family Constellation Workshop with Sakshi earlier. Inspired by these insightful sessions I enrolled for “Menstrual cycle coaching” sessions. And I must say this is one of the best decisions I took which had thrown light on many things pertaining to my life. The sessions helped me to embrace my femininity, in turn helping me to balance my masculine and feminine energies. Previously I used to always be on “hustle” mode which used to drain my energy but with the help of these sessions I learned the importance of rest and self care and how I can incorporate that in different stages of my cycle. It developed great awareness about myself-why I do/think/act differently in different stages of my cycle and embrace my uniqueness. This coaching is about learning about yourself. Even though we go through menstruation experience every month, but we are unaware of its impact in our life. This coaching has helped me to understand myself better, my body better and how my cycle contains so much information about my emotional and mental health.
